Elegance Innovation Lab

Originally trained in 'Design Thinking' through the organization Design for America, I began teaching interdisciplinary workshops in 2013. 2 years later I was hired by my University as a consultant to teach at higher level projects. 2 years later I interned at the US Agency for International Development to expand the reach of teams I worked with. And the following year, I left the country and began studying yoga where I developed a refined model of teaching design - which would become the base of my future coaching as well.

Throughout 2015-2023, I worked for and trained with an organization called the Multi Racial Unity Living Experience and Intercultural Aide Program dedicated to disrupting socialized patterns of heirarchy and dominance, and fostering community, connection and critical consciousness in the student population at Michigan State University. Below is a graphic I created for the organization's annual report. Beyond graphic work, the MRULE curriculum informed my understanding about the power of and necessity of working across differences in race, class, gender, sexuality and religion to forge new visions.
